Philip Glass and Generative Music

Like Eno, Philip Glass has an interest in the "infinity of a moment." His work is characterized by repetition and minimalism, with each level building on itself. Here's a sample of a song displaying these traits.

Also like Eno, Glass sees sound as half the picture. His work, Koyaanisqatsi, defines the now common combination of dramatic images and simple music.

Unlike Eno, Glass's music is traditionally composed. However, Eno often talks about Glass as an early influence in tonal music.
