Brian Eno and Ableton Samples

Brian Eno:

Brian Eno is a musician, composer, record producer, singer, and visual artist. His music is considered by many as both ambient and experimental. It has been immensely influential, pioneering ambient and generative music, innovating production techniques, and emphasizing “theory over practice.” He has also worked as an influenced and album producer. One of his most popular and influential works is “My Life in the Bush of Ghosts,” or just “Bush of Ghosts.” This is an album that was released in February of the year 1981 by Brian Eno and David Byrne (a musician that was in the band "Talking Heads"). Many people have said positive things about the album, and some even consider it to be revolutionary at the time.

Ableton Samples:

I thought I'd create a rock remix of "Wily's Castle" from Megaman 2 for the NES. If you want to hear the original 8-bit song in all of its glory, click the link below:

Here's my rock remix that I created with ableton:

After creating that, I felt like creating a remix (this one being more of a combination of brass and guitar) of another 8-bit song that I enjoy from the game entitled "Astyanax" for the NES. It's a song that occurs in the first cutscene when you start the game. If you want to hear the awesome original 8-bit track, click the link below:
