Loop Comments

Hey All,

Pardon my tardiness.

Darius- Loop is just so hip to the groove it lays down. The space right before each main hit with the low delayed synths is just so refreshing. The "ghost scream" in the back alongside the crackling sets up a very haunted house feel, possibly sci-fi with the high pitched delayed electronic synth. Loop 2 begs to have some rhymes on top of it. The feel is perfect and the samples are unique enough to where they can stick out, in a good way, in a hip hop mix.

Kevin-  Bassiest beat is what I want to hear while clubbing. The wobble synth has such a great attitude. With the syncopation in the percussion part it really gives the wobble an extra purpose. Really great job timing them just right. GLitch ambience would be greatly complimented a nice scene of a green park, with weird glitches of another scene in it. I dont know if that made sense, but I could explain if you'd like. The talking is introduced just far enough in. All and All, great soundscape. Dark breathes very well. It has its own pulse to it that doesn't really go interrupted. I really like the timing.

TDoughty - Horizon chant is awesome. This beat fits PERFECTLY with the pacing of the ending speech in the back. The musicality is great in this one. The intro with the pads and the bleeps were introduced very smoothly. Great Job. Ocean Chains really brings out a nostalgia for the beach. The wind chimes set me right in the middle of a nice breeze, and the waves breathe really great with the chimes. I dont know how detailed you were but the chimes seemed to match perfectly with the waves.
