HCC AUDIO DESIGN

Capturing, storing, processing, and retrieving audio in analog and digital domains for visual media and information systems. Recording, editing, processing, and mixing sound for 2-D and 3-D artifacts. In-class tutorials and techniques taught will include the creation of numerous sound based projects for use with visual media and data for information systems. Students will learn to record, edit, process and mix sound for a variety of 2D media, 3D animation and video games.

Prototyping with Pure Data and Processing

Make sure you download the correct version of Pure Data (0.43.2)

Install these Processing Libraries.

libPD - You must unzip the folder first, then unzip pdp5.zip. The output folder is called PureData. Drag this folder into the libraries folder of your Processing sketchbook.
controlP5 - Install by clicking Sketch menu in Processing -> Import Libraries... -> Add Libraries... -> then search for controlP5 -> Install
oscP5- Install by clicking Sketch menu in Processing -> Import Libraries... -> Add Libraries... -> then search for oscP5 -> Install
