this video is kinda long but the musician talks about a song he produced using granular synthesis. he speak about different sounds in his piece and how he made the sounds. kinda like a Behind the Scenes of a Movie.
also, from my understanding Additive Synthesis is a combination of sine waves that generate a timbre
