PLAY WITH SOUNDS

Here is a very basic Web Based Synthesizer:

It has two oscillators that give us our WAVEFORMS: Sine, Square, Triangle & Sawtooth

It also has the ability to MODULATE those waveforms with ANOTHER Oscillator usually called an LFO = LOW FREQUENCY OSCILLATOR

It has A FILTER for shaping the sounds

It also has an FILTER ENVELOPE & a Volume or AMPLITUDE ENVELOPE

All these are the basics of sound design;

Play some sounds, choose a variety of waveforms, combinations and "tweak" the filters and envelopes. Get familiar with sounds you like and how the waveforms sound. I will give detailed explanations of the vocabulary and the elements in class
